Again in the winter season 23/24, the ESTEC Ski Club is organising a ski trip with colleagues, friends and their partners.
The group is usually a colourful mix of all skiing / snowboard levels and ages.
This year we will go again to Gaschurn in Montafon, which is in the most very western part of Austria. The Silvretta Montafon ski area has 141 km of slopes for all levels of skiing and is also well known for back country and powder skiing. https://www.bergfex.com/silvretta-montafon/
This time we organise the ski trip from Thursday afternoon to Monday.
We plan to stay in the Explorer hotel in Gaschurn, which still has a larger number of single and double rooms available for the four nights from Thursday 25 to Monday 29 January 2024. https://www.explorer-hotels.com/en/montafon/.
The current (28 Nov) price for the four nights of accommodation including breakfast is €589.20 for the single room and €858.40 for the double room including breakfast.
The ski bus stops in front of the hotel, and it takes only a few minutes new Versettla gondola, which brings you all the way up to the slopes.

The current (28 Nov.) round trip flight ticket price of today is €249.39, which includes one piece of check-in luggage or €189.39 with only carry-on luggage.
The transfer from the airport Zurich to Gaschurn will take about two hours. The transfer will be organized once the exact group size is known. The expected cost of the round-trip transfer is about €150.- p.p.
Ski equipment can be rented in Gaschurn.
